Team Yamaha Philippines Stylobike Racing Team had a fantastic day in Jerez, Spain last weekend with rider Alex Escrig winning a race.

Filipino McKinley Kyle Paz (Yamaha Philippines SEC Motosupply) started in 14th place after crashing due to heavy winds during qualifying. But he finished near the top 10 again in P11 in the race earning points valuable points.

“This is not the result we are expecting but i’m still happy because after yesterday’s  big crash I still manage to get my confidence every lap thanks to my team Yamaha Philippines stylo bike racing team for the wonderful job this weekend and all who support me now let’s look forward to Potimao,” said Paz on social media.

Paz’s recent form and consistency this 2022 on the latest 800cc Kalex Moto2 bike is such that a finish outside the top 10 underwhelms him now. He has matured and showed improved competitiveness that a podum is now a realistic target for the Filipino. It’s only halfway in the season and great results are ahead are surely waiting for our boy in blue.

The next round of the FIM JuniorGP European Moto2 Championship will be on July 17 at the Autodromo Algarve, Portimao, Portugal. The track where Paz made his Moto2 debut last year.
