Phoenix Yamaha SEC favorite for Pirelli PSR and UBK crowns

The Phoenix Yamaha SEC team has been dominant in the 2021 season of the Pirelli Philippine Underbone King (UBK) and Pirelli Philipine Scooter Championships (PSR).
Winning from June in both major USRA categories, their riders Vrei-ar Suba (PSR) and April King Mascardo (UBK), are leading the overall Championships.
Coming into this weekend Dec 11-12 for the final quadruople of races at Clark International Speedway, only Mascardo’s team mates and fellow Sniper mounted Vrei-ar and are his main challengers for the UBK crown. Suba has only 4S1M Yamaha Zeneos’ Gian Carlo Mauricio to challenge him in PSR.
This will be the most succesful National season so far for the team based in Taytay, Rizal and managed by Mr. A.J. Fernando. They were one of the big teams who supported the return of racing since late 2020 and continued his preparation in 2021, commiting to race in every major series and at the same time developing his team, including the recruitment of Super Series star April King Mascardo from Mindanao. They just capoed iff a succesful MotoIR and Super Series campaign earluer in the year.
Meanwhile, in the Sealed Novice categories, Speedtuner’s Charls Jamorabon leads in the 115 Scooter while Suzuki Kixx VMAN’S Nikko Nambatac leads the 150 Underbone Sealed.
Other big teams that will compete thus weekend include 4S1M Yamaha Zeneos, Suzuki KIXX VMAN, JVT Scooters, Project FI, Speedtuner, Mototan, TSMP and many more.
The UBK and PSR are part of the 2021 Petron MORAC event organized by BRCA and sanctioned by the USRA.
