It was a day to remember for all of MotoGP, as the city of Bangkok hosted the first ever joint launch of the new season. The celebration began in the morning with a spectacular photoshoot featuring the teams and their bikes at the stunning Wat Benchamabohit Dusitwanara temple. This breathtaking setting provided a remarkable backdrop as the MotoGP machines made a grand entrance, parading through the city on Tuk Tuks specially decorated in their respective team colors.

Here, the riders thrilled fans by arriving under the stage aboard their showbikes. Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP riders Jack Miller and Miguel Oliveira made a dramatic entrance, riding near the end of the presentation in recognition of the team‘s impressive second-place finish in the 2024 MotoGP Teams World Championship standings.

And because Miller and Oliveira never hold back when it comes to putting on a show, when it came time for them to get on the Yamaha R1s it took little to send the fans into ecstasy with continuous burnouts and even a mini jump from Jack before the Aussie finished with a perfect donut. Amid roaring cheers, autographs signed and photos taken with the fans during their Walk of Heroes, once on the stage they took part in a short interview in front of their 2025 YZR-M1 bikes.

Following the group photoshoot with all teams and riders, Miller and Oliveira transitioned from their racing gear into elegant evening attire for the exclusive rooftop party atop Tower 5, concluding a day of celebration in style.

With the MotoGP launch now behind them, the focus shifts back to the championship battle ahead. After a productive testing session in Sepang, Miller and Oliveira are set to continue their preparations by heading to Buriram for two crucial days of winter testing (February 12-13). With their YZR-M1 2025 performing well in testing, the Australian and Portuguese duo are eager to fine-tune their setups before the season officially kicks off.

“I had a lot of fun meeting the fans and giving them a little show during this media event. It’s nice to see the exposure that MotoGP has and the effort that Dorna and the whole championship put in. To create something like this has been huge and I also want to thank Thailand for the way they welcome us every time we come here. It’s been a pleasure and I’m looking forward to the opening of the championship in Buriram in three weeks‘ time.” — Jack Miller, Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP

“For me it was a beautiful day, not only because this is a unique place, but also because it was something different from what we are used to doing. We have brought MotoGP to the city and to a country where the motorcycle is a very important means of transportation. To start the championship here, to have this presentation here, makes a lot of sense. Congratulations to all the teams and to Dorna for being able to organize this, for us riders it was beautiful.” — Miguel Oliveira, Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP

“This was a special event as it is the first time that all the teams have come together to present the season. I think Dorna made a very good choice in choosing Bangkok as they have found a venue that allows them to put MotoGP in the spotlight. It was a lot of fun and great to see all the fans here for a unique event. Now it’s up to us to try and put on a show like the one Jack and Miguel started today.” — Gino Borsoi, Team Director, Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP
