Promising Start for 4S1M Yamaha’s Inguito and Kresna

After clinching national and IRGP titles as well as numerous wins over the years, 4S1M racing team now ventures in the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship. The team had a wildcard participation the Underbone 150 class in Sepang last year and this 2020, its star rider John Emerson Inguito is competing full season in the said category with Indonesian teammate Gupita Kresna. The two are racing for 4S1M Yamaha Racing Team on Yamaha Sniper 150 motorcycles.

With the Filipinos’ cheer and his teams unwavering support, “The Hitman” John Emerson Inguito started the first round of the ARRC UB150 class determined and on a high spirit. The UB150 class is tough with 27 riders and Inguito is gradually improving every time he steps on the track. He ranked 17th in the combined practice on March 6 and placed 16th with a 2:34.336s time in qualifying. He was 14th during the Superpole and ended up at 16th place with the best time of 2:34.838s in Race 1 on March 7. In Race 2, Inguito gave a good fight and was fifth to cross the finish line, registering a 2:33.734s best time and showing his fans and competitors his renowned underbone racing calibre.  His fifth place finish was appreciated well by his supporters and fans who got more excited for The Hitman in his ARRC campaign this year. After the first round, Inguito is 11th in the overall UB150 standings with 11 points.

“Mahirap na masarap ang laban. Marami man naging problema, hindi ako pinabayaan ni God. Next race, push pa natin para makamit ang podium! Gupita Kresna on the other hand, was seventh at the starting grid and finished Race 1 at 14th place. The Indonesian had a better output in Race 2 where he placed 8th. Kresna is 13th in the overall standings with the 10 points he gained in the opening round.

With Inguito and Kresna’s good performances in the first round, 4S1M Yamaha racing team is seventh in the overall team rankings of the UB150 category. Yamaha Motor Philippines, 4S1M, G-Ren Hard Alloy, Lian Sheng Steel Manufacturing, MP, MTN, Marton Batteries, SEC Motosupply, Nitek Helmets, Pro Liner Indonesia, Ardians and JDS are supporting Inguito and Kresna in their ARRC UB150 campaign.

The ARRC UB150 class will have its next round at the Suzuka Circuit in Japan on June 26-28.
