Because of the conditions today, none of the riders improved their times but Petronas Yamaha SRT’s Franco Morbidelli and Aprilia Racing Team Gresini’s Aleix Espargaro reclaimed top spots as they finished 1 and 2 like in FP1.
Rookie Luca Marini on his was third and world champion Joan Mir of Suzuki was fourth. Fifth was Monster Yamaha’s Fabio Quartararo
Ducati’s Jack Miller only managed 15th after a crash in Turn 15 while team mate Francesco Bagnaia in 21st
