Record-breaking REV: Yamaha Motor Philippines achieved multiple GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ titles!

“Only Yamaha revs your heart” shouted by over 3,300 Yamaha riders during the brand’s GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ Official Attempt on July 13, 2024,

A decade ago, Yamaha Motor Philippines launched its new brand slogan: Revs Your Heart which encompasses the brand’s passion for innovation, providing exceptional value, and mission to enrich customer’s lives. Anchoring to the slogan, to rev everyone’s hearts and provide extraordinary activity, the year 2014 also marks the history of Yamaha Motor Philippines owning the three GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ titles; the largest parade of Yamaha motorcycles, most engines started Simultaneously, and most motorcycle horns Sounded Simultaneously.

13 Gwr Horns As the market’s interest evolved through the years, Yamaha Motor Philippines kept its slogan by providing campaigns and events that elevate the riding community, one of which is giving consistent brand support through Yamaha Club activities. Now, the YClub continuously growing and has now gained over 35,000 riders in the Philippines. The growth in a decade signifies the brand’s influence on Filipinos. As the riding population grows, mixing old and new generations of motorcycle owners is a perfect formula to show the world how Yamaha continuously revs everyone’s hearts today.

04 Gwr Parade With that, on July 13 at Pasay City, Yamaha Motor Philippines together with over 3,300 Yamaha Club members successfully reclaimed the two GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ titles. Starting with the largest motorcycle parade formation, Yamaha invited 1,500 motorcycle riders parade in celebration of sustaining the ownership of 2014 record with 1,208 riders.

10 Gwr Engine The second attempt goals to break the Most Engines Started Simultaneously. YMPH achieved to break the record with 3,300 participants from the current holder with only 3,184 multi-brand motorcycles. Doing a simultaneous start of engines emphasizes the ignition of riding passion – proving how Yamaha continuously creates every Filipino’s kando moment. (Kando is a Japanese for the simultaneous feelings of deep satisfaction and intense excitement we experience when encountering something of exceptional value.)

14 Guinness World Record The third and last record represents the united roaring voice of the Yamaha community through the collective sounds of their machines. Beating the 3,177 riders, YMPH reclaimed the title with 3,300 participants.
