Repsol IR CFV Kicks Off in Tarlac on May 10

The IR Philippine Speed Championships (Campeonato Filipinas de Velocidad), a race series presented by Repsol is having its opening round at the Tarlac Circuit Hill. The inaugural race is scheduled on May 10 and will feature underbone, scooter, super sport and club races.

The event is sanctioned by NAMSSA  (the Philippine FIM Federation) and its affiliate USRA. It is fully supported by the Provincial Government of Tarlac headed by Honorable Governor Christian Tell A. Yap. There is a special scooter race class exclusive for Tarlac novice and beginner riders. The category has no entry fee and winners will be awarded with trophies and cash prizes courtesy of  Tarlac Provincial Government.

With the CFV, Repsol, in partnership with InsideRACING, brings a European racing tradition and experience to the Philippines! For many years, the Repsol CEV Campeonato España de Velocidad (now FIM JuniorGP) was a major international motorcycle racing series, sponsored by Repsol, serving as the crucial final step for young riders on the path to international racing before rebranding to FIM JuniorGP in 2022 to emphasize its role as the official feeder series to the World Championships.

For 2026, Repsol Philippines is doing something similar and is supporting new Filipino racers by supporting the inaugural Repsol IR CFV focused mainly in preparing new riders and teams for our FIM NAMSSA Philippine National Championships and beyond and adding to the number of prestigious FIM sanctioned circuit championships for teams and riders to unveil their speed.

All three Repsol CFV races will be held at the Tarlac Circuit Hill. Race dates are on May 10, July 12 and October 18.
