Riders line up at LTO offices

While a few LTO offices are closed due to staff COVID-19 infections, those that remain open are swamped with people which are mostly riders who wants to change ownership in their registration in order to comply with the RA 11235 when it takes effect in a few days’ time.

” Yan ang eksena sa LTO Novaliches today which had caused traffic, more than a kilometer long traffic along Zabarte area. Pila na ang mga tao as early as 5 am. Yang pila na yan is not even a fraction ng nasa loob. Good luck sa Social Distancing. Nagkalat din ang fixer sa labas, wherein you’ll get quoted for at least 6K for transfer ownership. Just the backlog alone for registration and DL renewal is enough to cause pandemonium..dumagdag pa tayong no choice but to process papers because of RA11235 that was forcely implemented sabay ng COVID crisis.”
