Stance Yamaha Mio from Tarlac

Axl Alvie Santos, a call center agent from Tarlac City started modifying bikes in 2013. He owns this Stance Yamaha Mio.

Stance Concept started getting popular in Manila in 2014 and Axl was influenced. He then started building his stance bike in 2016. At the beginning, Axl had difficulty because of budget issues and he also took time in putting the right parts to fit his project bike. As time went on, he gradually finished modifying his dream project bike and it really brought happiness to him. He encountered many challenges including how to deal with haters. “Experience po talaga ang pinaka the best dito. Memorable moments ay nung naghanap ako ng mga makakasama para makapagtayo ng Stance Group dito sa Tarlac. Nagsimula lahat sila sa lowered lang. Bandang huli, nung dumami na kami, nagkaroon ng pagkakataon na makasali kami lahat sa isang big event na motor show dito sa Tarlac. Hindi ko makakalimutan iyon kasi ang laki ng improvement ng members ko,” shared Axl. His group Stance Culture Tarlac is under Stance Culture Philippines.

The Stance Yamaha Mio of Axl sports Chemco 3 spokes mags (chrome), JRP super flat seat, Daeng Sai 4 carbon fiber, modified Combiz front outer tube (chrome), Nissin caliper, PS16 brake master, half lightened crankcase (chrome), MTRT bell housing chrome, MTRT big valves head, JVT 63 block chrome bore, Nibbi 28mm carburetor, all CNC white gold bolts 100% (interior and exterior) and YSS modified rear suspension.

“Ang rason po ng pagbibuild ko is to inspire people po and to showcase my bikes. Sa kinahiligan ko pong ito ay nagkaron ako ng maraming kaibigan na hilig din ang pagbibuild ng stance bikes,” said Axl. To fellow builders and motorcycle enthusiasts, his message is “Huwag kayo susuko sa dream bike nyo. Wag nyo susukuan dahil sigurado ako magbubunga naman lahat ng pagod, hirap at syempre gastos nyo sa mga binibuild nyo.”

Axl has no projects as of now because of the pandemic, but after this he plans to modify his NMAX. “Salamat sa partner ko na si Sherilyn Garcia. Suportado nya hilig ko kahit magastos daw haha, minsan builder ko pa pag nasa trabaho ako. Salamat din kay Rhampaul na Founder ng Stance Culture Philippines dahil tinanggap nila ako sa grupo at nakapagbuo kami ng chapter dito sa Tarlac. Salamat din sa mga members ko syempre. Konting tiis lang boys magkikita na ulit tayo,” expressed Axl.
