Suzuki Burgman EconoTour Luzon Highlights Unbeatable Fuel Efficiency and Comfort

Suzuki Philippines successfully concluded the first leg of the Burgman EconoTour – an event
that put the celebrated fuel-efficiency, comfort and convenience of the Burgman Street (both
the Standard and Executive Class (EX) variants) to the ultimate test. The tour which is a
challenging 275-kilometer ride from Suzuki Caloocan to Coco’s Beach, Bolinao, Pangasinan,
saw a remarkable turnout and impressive results, proving why the maxi sized 125cc scooter is
the top choice for both daily commutes and long-distance rides.

A total of 136 enthusiastic riders joined completing the full route – a testament to the Burgman
Street’s exceptional ride comfort and reliability, allowing participants to enjoy the journey
without fatigue. This event was a true showcase of the scooter’s practicality and its ability to
handle extended periods on the road with ease.

The highlight of the event was the incredible fuel consumption recorded throughout the tour.
Despite the rainy weather and varying road conditions, the group achieved an impressive
average fuel-efficiency of 70 km/L. This figure not only surpassed expectations with WMTC
fuel-economy rating declaration for Burgman Street Standard at 54.9 km/L and EX at 56.8 km/L
but also solidified the Burgman Street’s reputation as a leader in its segment for economic
performance. The tour kicked off at 3:00 AM from the Suzuki Caloocan Cyclemar 3S Shop, with
riders navigating highways and provincial roads of Pampanga, Tarlac and Pangasinan before
reaching the beautiful beach resort in Bolinao. Media representatives and vloggers also joined
in the event.

Riders passed through checkpoints at Suzuki’s 3S Shops name Suzuki Pampanga Wheeltek 3S
Shop, Suzuki Tarlac LGK Guanzon 3S Shop and Suzuki Alaminos Guanzon 3S Shop with the first
rider crossing the finish line at around 10:00 AM and the last participant arriving at 1:20 PM.
Participants reported a positive and comfortable riding experience throughout the event. This
tour provided riders with a unique opportunity to experience the Burgman’s relaxed and deluxe
seating, spacious floorboard and smooth handling on a real-world, long-distance ride. The
Burgman Street’s design, which provides flexible foot positioning and a stable ride, was a key
factor in the riders’ ability to complete the journey comfortably.
