At the end of the day, remarkable are ladies who ride and appreciate motorcycles. Jesse Calalang is one of the amazing lady riders who love travelling on two-wheels.
Included in her bucket list was to go on a motorcycle ride to the 81 provinces in the Philippines, and so she did. After this feat, she now plans to go back and ride again to Visayas and Mindanao.
Born and raised in Manila, Jesse started riding motorcycles in 2016 and she got her first motorcycle last year, in July. Before having her own motorcycle, she had 2 eco bikes. Her passion is travelling solo on a budget and exploring more the beautiful sceneries in the country. She also loves to meet new friends from different places, eating and photography. Jesse dreams of riding a big bike someday.
An adventurous and independent woman, Jesse loves to ride motorcycles to different places. It is complete fun and satisfaction for her. Her first ride happened in September 2018. It was a ride to Tagaytay and Batangas with a backride. She then had a 7-day backpacking experience in Bicol Region in November 2018 also with a backride along. Her third ride was her solo ride to Marinduque in April 2019. Fourth ride was also done solo, a North Loop ride for 8 days in Abra, Ilocos Sur, Ilocos Norte, Apayao, Kalinga, Isabela, Quirino, and Nueva Vizcaya. That was her most memorable experience so far. Her most recent ride was in Romblon held in September this year.
Jesse Calalang is definitely an inspiration to females who want to ride solo or with a group. Jesse inspires us to find something we love and go ride!
“To ladies out there, don’t hesitate to ride a motorcycle or even ride solo. It’s our freedom to do so, so keep on rolling and ride safe. To all my fellow riders, just always pray.” – Jesse Calalang
