Established in 1997, Chian-Yie Industrial Co. Ltd. (NCY) was originally a workshop in Taiwan for fixing and modifying scooters. Now, it is one of the biggest taiwan-based aftermarket and performance scooter parts brand in the motorcycle and scooter world.
Being based in Taiwan, the scooter capital of the world, no doubt has contributed to the success of NCY. But what generally defines NCY is the quality and workmanship of their products.
Backed by it’s 20 plus years of experience in scooter repair and tuning, this ISO 9001 certified company developed a keen eye for what a scooter is lacking in terms of improvements and performance. It has been always a go-to brand even in the days of two stroke scooters like the Honda Dio and the Yamaha Jog in the late 90’s.
In 2005, NCY purchased a factory space which then became the head office and main factory in Tainan City, Taiwan. Later in 2012, NCY purchased the adjacent lands for its expansion.
NCY currently has an area of 65, 000 square meters where the factory is located as well as the test facility to test the quality and performance of their products before and after production. Recently, they have also built a Research and Development Center in Vietnam. Chian-Yie Industrial Co. Ltd became ISO certified on 2007.
From being a humble scooter shop that fix, modify and tune, NCY’s advancement is anything short of remarkable as the brand now has a vast array of aftermarket and performance products ranging from CVT and engine parts to accessories to cater most models of Yamaha, Kymco, Sym, PGO, Suzuki and Honda brand of scooters and motorcycles.
It’s also worth noting that they are also producing parts and accessories for emerging electric scooter market for brands such as Gogoro.
In the Philippines, NCY has supported local racing including NCY Automatic Trophy Class in the most recent InsideRacing Grand Prix (IRGP) held in Clark International Speedway in 2019 as well at the in Carmona Race Track in 2018.
