Yamaha Motor Helps COVID-19 Frontliners

Yamaha Motor Company supports medical frontliners in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic.

Using their production technology and resources, the Japanese manufacturer expressed its determination to manufacture face shields and sterilizing detergents for medical frontliners.

Around mid-May, face shields are planned to be supplied to local medical institutions via the Iwata City Medical Association in Japan. Yamaha Motor aims to provide at least 1000 sets of resin face shields and manufacture 500L per day of sterilizing detergent.

Yamaha also expressed its support to those battling COVID-19 and hopes for their soonest recovery. The manufacturer deeply sympathizes to all those who have lost loved ones because of the global pandemic.
