The Yamaha Philippines Racing Team closed their 2025 ARRC campaign at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram, Thailand, carrying with them the pride, spirit, and determination that have defined their season. Despite challenges across both categories, the riders showed resilience until the final lap, representing the country with heart on one of Asia’s most demanding stages.

THE WONDERBOY FINISHES STRONG IN SS600

McKinley Kyle Paz wrapped up his season with a determined performance in the SS600 category, completing Race 1 and Race 2 in a highly competitive field. Paz concludes the year 8th overall in the championship, reaffirming his status as one of the Philippines’ top international racing talents.

His team, Hong Leong Yamaha Racing Team, clinched the SS600 Constructors Championship, while his teammate Kasma Daniel secured the SS600 Riders Championship, a testament to the strength of the Yamaha roster and the vital role Paz played throughout the season in bringing home valuable points.

Though the finale did not yield his strongest results of the year, Paz’s consistency and determination across all six rounds solidified his presence as a fierce competitor in his sophomore SS600 campaign. His growth this season sets the stage for an even stronger return.

CHALLENGES IN UB150, BUT THE FIGHTING SPIRIT REMAINS

The UB150 category delivered one of the toughest weekends of the season for the Yamaha Philippines Racing Team.

“The Android” EJ Sobretodo was unable to finish Race 1 despite a strong start, while “The Rocket” April King Mascardo suffered a heartbreaking DNF in Race 2. Timothy Rojas, racing as a wild card entry, also did not finish.

Despite these setbacks, each rider demonstrated unwavering resolve throughout the season. Mascardo and Sobretodo faced fierce competition round after round, and though the finale was not the ending they hoped for, their dedication continues to inspire riders and fans alike.

John Emerson Inguito of 4S1M EVO Yamaha Racing Team delivered a standout performance with an impressive 2nd place finish in Race 2, showcasing the potential and depth of Yamaha’s racing program.
