It was another excellent performance for Yamaha Philippines Racing Team at the 17th Alpinestars InsideRACING Grand Prix. Their victories and podium finishes are a testament to the racing prowess of the manufacturer in motorcycle racing.
Aside from three IRGPXVII titles courtesy of McKinley Kyle Paz and the Masters Trophy title won by Gian Carlo Mauricio, Yamaha dominated the Manufacturers’ competition by winning seven awards. Yamaha Motor Philippines took home seven out of eight MDAP Manufacturer Award trophies proving once again the caliber of their riders and race machines. “Creating Champions” is truly a fitting tagline for Yamaha Philippines.

Receiving the Manufacturer Awards for Yamaha Motor Philippines were Mr. Jonathan dela Cruz and Mr. John Hanzel Leyva from the company’s Motorsports Division. Through the years, Yamaha has been a force to be reckoned with in IRGP and in 2018 they bagged all Manufacturer Awards at the 2018 IRGPXII.
Congratulations Yamaha Motor Philippines and Yamaha Philippines racing team! After IRGP the blue team takes on the challenge of the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship which is having its final round for 2024 at the Chang International Circuit in Thailand. Paz is the lone Filipino battling against the best in Asia in the SuperSport 600 class while Mauricio and wildcard rider Joseph Dominique Purino is raising our flag in the Underbone 150 category. April King Mascardo who recently recovered from an injury is with the team and will support his teammates from the sidelines.
