Date posted on July 25, 2020
Last week’s Spanish GP winner Fabio Quartararo of Petronas- Yamaha Team will start from pole again for tommorow’s Andalucia GP. Next to him will be Monster- Yamaha’s Maverick Viñales, who finished second to Quartararo last Sunday at the Jerez Circuit.
It is the second succesive pole for the 21 year old rookie and is looking to add another victory on Sunday.
Meanwhile, despite his heroics to race just 4 days after surgery to fix a broken arm suffered in a crash last weekend, Repsol-Honda’s World Champion Marc Marquez pulled out and will not start the race on Sunday after feeling great pain.
His brother and reigning Moto2 World Champion Marc Marquez will start dead last.
The leading Ducati Franco Bagnaia will start third followed by Valentino Rossi. Fastest of the KTM riders is Miguel Olivera in fifth while Mir was the leading Suzuki riders in tenth place. Aleix Espargaro was 16th on his Aprilia.
