2021 XMAX 300 launched in Thailand

Yamaha Thailand  has officially launched the 2021 upgrade to the XMAX 300 at the 42th Bangkok International Motorshow (BIMS) a few days ago. 

The updates are mainly cosmetics with new colors to make the XMAX more premium, or more aggressive are more sporty.The body based on the boomerang concept has been left unchanged. Not a bad thing since the XMAX still is one of the most goodlooking and modern looking scooter in the category.

Icon Gray

Colores are Icon Gray, Power Gray, Sword Gray, Phantom Blue, Black and Red according the Yamaha Thailand website.

Features include adjustable headlight  brightness on its all LED twin-eye lights and the instrument display consist of  a central Digital LCD display in between analog speedometer  and tachometer. It also has adjustable handlebars and windshield.

The most impressive XMAX feature is the underseat storage that can carry 2 full face helmets. The seat now features red stiching.

The engine remains the same 292cc, water-cooled, 4-valve 4-stroke SOHC engine with Yamaha’s signature Blue Core technology and now Euro 5 compliant.

It comes with  ABS and Traction Control System (TCS) and the ‘Smart Key’ system.

With its 15 inch front wheel and 14 inch rear wheel, the XMAX handling and comfort has been well accepted by Thai riders and tge rest of the world.

The 2021 Yamaha XMAX’s is still made in Thailand price is unchanged at 172,900 baht (Php182,000).
