Yamaha Motor Philippines introduces the all-new Mio Gear S, a motorcycle designed to support today’s active urban lifestyles through functionality, adaptability, and everyday practicality.

Built around the philosophy “Play Your Way,” the Mio Gear S evolves beyond toughness by delivering features designed to naturally fit different routines, personalities, and ways of moving through the city.

As more people integrate movement into their daily lives, from work and fitness to errands, content creation, and social activities, the Mio Gear S adapts seamlessly to changing routines through compact mobility and smart everyday functionality.

The Mio Gear S features an 18.6L underseat storage compartment that accommodates everyday urban essentials for added practicality and convenience during rides. Complementing this is the spacious footboard, designed to provide convenient legroom and extra space for carrying items throughout the day.

Supporting its everyday functionality is a range of utility focused features such as the multi-function grab bar, designed with a flat surface for boxes or travel bags and complemented by sturdy cargo hooks for versatile carrying options. The narrow seat design allows easier ground reach while maintaining riding comfort, while the back-step enhances comfort even when carrying larger baggage on the footboard. The Mio Gear S also features a 5.1L fuel tank, allowing less frequent refueling for uninterrupted long rides.

Designed for confidence in urban riding conditions, the Mio Gear S is equipped with 12-inch wide tubeless tires that provide added stability and confidence, especially during cornering and everyday city riding. Enhancing visibility further are its bright LED headlights and hazard lights, helping riders maintain confidence throughout different riding situations.

Powering the Mio Gear S is Yamaha’s new 125cc Air-Cooled Blue Core Hybrid Engine with Smart Motor Generator technology, delivering fuel efficiency together with quicker and smoother acceleration, especially during starts and inclines through Electric Power Assist. The Stop & Start System also helps reduce fuel waste by automatically shutting off the engine when idling at traffic lights.

The Mio Gear S also features a large and informative Digital Meter Panel for a more modern riding experience, alongside an Electric Power Socket that allows convenient charging access for gadgets while on the move. Additional convenience comes through Yamaha’s Answer-Back System, allowing riders to easily locate their motorcycle in crowded parking spaces through remote activated light and sound response.

Completing the package is the Mio Gear S’ Active Styling, featuring a compact and lightweight design with a versatile and assertive front profile that enhances both maneuverability and visual presence.
