MotoGP champion Marc Marquez will miss Sunday’s Czech Grand Prix and will be replaced by HRC test rider amd 2011 Moto2 World Champion Stefan Bradl at the Repsol Honda Team.

Marquez had another surgery early this week to replace a damaged titanium plate inserted after he broke his right arm in the July 19 season-opening race in Spain.

After a heroic return just four days after surgery in Jerez, Marc Marquez will miss the Brno race with Stefan Bradl joining the Repsol Honda Team alongside Alex Marquez,” the Repsol Honda Team said in a statement.

This means that the defending World MotoGP World Champion will not score any points in the first 3 races of this shortened 2020 campaign.

Yamaha- Petronas SRT’s Fabio Quartarao leads with a perfect score of two wins put of two races so far.
