It was another showcase of riding talent from young riders in Race 3 and 4 of the 2023 MotulMotoIR Youth Cup held together with the second round of the MotoIR Championship on April 16. Riding skills were tested in both dry and wet conditions and the continuous improvement of the Motul MotoIR Youth Cup participants is a sight to behold. Race 3 on a dry track was dominated by Franzjuricdela Cruz, who impressively took his first Senior class win the developmental series. Lady rider Jamila Ramirez placed second followed by Mark DustineOliveros and John Alfred Santos. In the Junior class, rookie VashTravis Aguilar continues to show excellence. Second placer was Carlsen Solis while Knox Pantaleon and lady rider Eunice Mae. Sta Ana placed third and fourth, respectively.

The track was wet after a downpour in Race 4 later in the afternoon. This time, John Alfred Santos redeemed himself and claimed the victory in the Senior category after a thrilling battle with second placer Franzjuricdela Cruz. Jamila Ramirez got third place this time while Mark Dustin Oliveros placed fourth. Eunice Mae Sta. Ana remarkably scored her first Junior class victory in Race 4. Know Pantaleon had a better performance which resulted in a second place finish. Vash Travis Aguilar ended up at third place while Carlsen Solis was not able to finish the race after a crash.

The next race of the Motul MotoIR Youth Cup is on April 30 at the Tarlac Circuit Hill. It will be held together with the season opener of the Motul Super Series. The Motul MotoIR Youth Cup is organized by InsideRACING and sanctioned by NAMSSA and USRA. The rider development program is supported by Motul distributed locally by Infiniteserv, Racing Boy, Pirelli Tires, KYT Helmets, YSS Suspension, SSS Sprockets, Blackflag Designs, PJ Bonza, JM Mirasol and DE69 Academy.
The Motul MotoIR Youth Cup is now on its second year and features young riders competing in KAYO 150cc MiniGP bikes.
