Matty Mouse: Stance Streetbike Concept Show Scoot from Bulacan

This 2016 Yamaha Mio sporty Stance Show Scoot sports a fusion of 2 concepts: Stance and Thai Streetbike. The scoot is owned by Kelvin Geronimo of Team Mhaekel Workz and he is based in Sta. Maria, Bulacan.
Mhaekel Workz is actually a husband and wife duo. It was through his hobby that he met his wife as both of them shared the same passion for modified bikes. They casually met during motor shows and competitions and eventually, they became close and decided to build team Mhaekel Workz which is derived from the second name of his girlfriend (now his wife) Rhia Mhae Geronimo and his first name Kelvin. Hence, they came up with Mhae-Kel. They continued to pursue their hobby over the years until they became husband and wife.
“Napili ko ang concept na ito dahil sa paningin ko, ito ay kakaiba. Naipapakita ang detailed interior dahil may mga lightened parts sa outer fairings,” Kelvin said.
“The challenges we encountered building this scoot and during competition is yung pangungutya na puro ganun lang kaya kong gawin at higit sa lahat yung sinisiraan ka sa ibang tao. Pero hindi ako nagpadala sa mga kwento nila, lalo akong nagsumikap at nagpakilala sa maraming tao na hindi ganun ang Mhaekel Workz . I continued to innovate and improve my craft and let my work speak for itself. So kapag nakita na nila ang logo ko sa show and say “Ay kay Mhaekel Workz yan, idol ko yang motor na yan!”, it makes all the sacrifices, effort and work you invested on your bike worth it when the show spectators appreciate your work and na-papa wow sila sa gawa ko. Dun pa lang, panalo na,” Kelvin narrated.

The scoot sports Brembo calipers, Ohlins steering dampers, JRP racing saddles, 5VV levers, lightened disk rotors, lightened body panels, lightened crankcase, custom-made strut bars, Thai bolts, 3.5 JRP Racing Rims (front and back) wrapped in IRC drag Tires, NMAX hubs, stainless spokes, custom lowered rear suspension, carbon fiber inner body panels and projector headlights. It is then finished with custom matte gray paint. The engine features MTRT 67 mm, KOSO DOHC head, #5 pin, #9 rod, 34 mm carburetor and AUN racing exhaust.
“Thank you to my family and friends sa pagsuporta sa lahat ng laban ng Matty ko. Salamat sa mga sponsors na nagtitiwala sa Matty ko lalong lalo na sa asawa kong si Rhia Mhae Geronimo na laging naka full support sa akin sa lahat ng laban na sinasalihan namin.
