Zero2Podium’s Lady Rider and Cebu Racer Makes International Racing Debut

More young Filipino riders are getting a taste of racing outside the country. This June 27 and 28, 18-year-old Gracie Reyes from Valenzuela and 19-year-old Christwil Villanueva from Talisay, Cebu are debuting at the second round of the Yamaha R3 bLU cRU Asia Pacific Championship taking place at Sportland Sugo Circuit in Japan.

The two are competing against riders from China, Vietnam, Australia, Japan and New Zealand. Gracie Reyes is a replacement rider while Christwil Vilanueva is a wildcard rider and they are joining fellow Filipinos Moses Reyes and Mytchell Joshua Ngo in representing the country in the Yamaha R3 bLU cRU Asia Pacific Championship. Gracie’s brother Moses and Mytchell are on their second year in the series. 22 riders are competing in the second round.


Showing a lot of talent and promise at the Motul MotoIR Championship under the tutelage of the Zero2Podium Riding School of Coach Joey Storm Rivero, Gracie and Christwil are now taking their skills onto a higher level. Gracie has been remarkable in the Philippine SSBK Women’s Championship of the Motul MotoIR Championship while Christwil is one of the top competitors in the Philippine Super Sport Bike SP category of the series.
