Royal Enfield Continues Robust Growth Momentum; Records Highest-Ever Annual Sales at Over 1.2 Million Units

Royal Enfield, the global leader in the mid-size motorcycle segment, has recorded its highest-ever annual sales surpassing 1.2 million units in the financial year ending March 31, 2026, and marked the second consecutive year of crossing the 1 million annual sales. The Asia Pacific region saw an annual growth of 8% in the same period, recording one of the best years in terms of sales.

The growth in the International markets rose 23% to 1,31,316 units in the financial year ending 31st March 2026. This record-breaking performance was driven by sustained demand across both India and international markets, supported by a strong and diverse motorcycle portfolio and a growing ecosystem of allied business strengthening overall customer engagement.

 

Speaking about the performance for the year, Manoj Gajarlawar, Business Head for Asia Pacific markets – Royal Enfield, said, “Every year at Royal Enfield, we try to raise the bar a little higher than before, and this time was no different. We delivered our second consecutive year of over one million motorcycle sales, crossing 1.2 million units, our highest-ever annual performance in India. In the APAC region, we continue to focus on deepening our presence in 14+ markets that we are present in. Royal Enfield celebrates 125 Years of Pure Motorcycling
Royal Enfield marked another monumental milestone in its storied journey as it celebrated 125 years of Pure Motorcycling at EICMA 2025. The brand commemorated this landmark occasion by showcasing its exciting new lineup blending tradition with innovation including the Classic 650 125th Anniversary Special Edition, the purpose-built Himalayan Mana Black Edition and the Bullet 650, which breathes new life into an icon that has defined generations.

Royal Enfield announced entry into two new countries in the APAC region- Hong Kong and Taiwan
To keep up with the growing demand and sustained growth in the Asia Pacific region, Royal Enfield announced entry in two new markets – Hong Kong and Taiwan. In Hong Kong, the announcement was made through the inauguration of the flagship showroom in Chai Wan. In Taiwan, First showroom opened in Hsinchu with Taikoo Motors as the authorised distributor.

Royal Enfield appointed a new Business Head for the APAC region
Reinforcing its leadership in the global markets, Royal Enfield appointed Manoj Gajarlawar as the new Business Head for the Asia Pacific region. This will further strengthen the presence of Royal Enfield in the mid-size motorcycle segment.

Royal Enfield received an array of awards for its motorcycles in the APAC region
Royal Enfield received prestigious awards in Thailand, Malaysia and Russia. In Thailand, Super Meteor 650 won the ‘Best Cruiser in Middle Weight’ segment in the Annual Thailand Bike of the Year 2026 Award hosted by the Grand Prix Group. In Malaysia, the Guerrilla 450 won the Best Modern Classic Bike of the Year Award. In Russia, Our custom build Cor Ferro, by Copper Chopper — based on the Super Meteor 650 — secured 1st place in the Metric category and 2nd in Freestyle, achieving a rare double podium in one of the most competitive custom arenas.

Differentiated Custom Builds unveiled
In Japan, Royal Enfield unveiled two very special custom builds- “VITA” and “Carolina Reaper” at the 33rd Annual Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show 2025. The VITA was crafted by Yuichi Yoshizawa and Yoshikazu Ueda of Custom Works Zon, a custom factory based in Shiga Prefecture. In Thailand, a one of its kind build – Urban Striker was built on Guerrilla 450 Apex customized by Apollo Garage.

Rental Footprints Expansion
Across Thailand, Japan, Australia, Cambodia and Mongolia, there are over 400 motorcycles being used by various Tours & Rentals operators. Rental operators are expanding their fleet with a range of 350cc, 450cc and 650cc motorcycles based on the varied terrains available across markets.

Renewed focus on ownership experience
Royal Enfield has been consistently working on improving the after-sales and ownership experience. Royal Enfield continues to focus on the technician’s skill development. A Regional Training centre in Thailand is set-up to upskill technicians in the region. At a global level, there is intense focus on learning and diagnostic skills of network technicians and Technical skill competition.

Differentiated Ride formats across the region
Motorcycling at Royal Enfield has always been about adventure, travel and exploration. We have nurtured the culture of leisure riding through several deeply engaging and experiential rides under our Rides and Events Programme. In APAC, we have 100+ Royal Enfield Communities with over 15k Riders. We have had very successful editions of Tour of Thailand, Tour of Tasmania and Coastal Trails. The first time “Ride & Camp” – our Brand Led Marquee ride was done in Malaysia. In Malaysia, we set a Limca Book of Record with the largest Gathering at Sepeng Circuit of 800+ riders.
