2021 marks the fiftieth anniversary of the introduction of the air-cooled twin-cylinder engine on a Ducati, seen for the first time in 1971 on the Ducati 750 GT. For the occasion, Ducati Scrambler has decided to pay homage to the history of this famous engine by adding a celebratory model to the range: this is how the Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO was born.
The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO is a motorcycle that has been created with enthusiasts of modern-classic motorcycles and fans of motorcycle history, particularly that of Ducati, in mind.
The new Ducati Scrambler model pays homage to the history of the Borgo Panigale company through the choice of a fascinating “Giallo Ocra” livery, a colour particularly relevant at that time for Ducati, to which the Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO adds further style details such as the use of the iconic Ducati logo of the 1970s, designed by Giugiaro, and black spoked wheels. Further distinctive styling details are represented by the circular rear-view mirrors and the brown seat with dedicated stitching.
From a technical point of view, the bike has the characteristics of the Ducati Scrambler 1100 PRO family. It has an iconic and at the same time original design, an agile chassis and a 1.079 cc engine characterized by generous torque from low revs.
The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO comes standard with three Riding Modes, each associated with different Power Modes and various levels of Ducati Traction Control (DTC). Furthermore, thanks to the front headlight with LED light guide, the bike is always visible and recognizable even during the day.
Within the range of the most performing bikes of the Ducati Scrambler family, the Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO joins the Ducati Scrambler 1100 Dark PRO models, the gateway to the 1100s of the “Land of Joy”, and Ducati Scrambler 1100 Sport PRO, the sportiest and most muscular version of the Ducati Scrambler.
The entire 1100 range is equipped as standard with ABS Cornering and Ducati Traction Control (DTC) for safe riding in any situation. The models are also designed for the Ducati Multimedia System (DMS), which enables a smartphone to be connected to the bike via Bluetooth, while the USB socket positioned under the seat is standard.
The entire 1100 range is also available in a 35-kW version for A2 license holders.
To give fans of the “Land of Joy”, the universe that truly represents self-expression in Ducati, the opportunity to express their attitude to customization in the best way, Ducati Scrambler offers a wide choice in terms of clothing and accessories. The clothing line includes helmets, technical gear and lifestyle products (which can be purchased in dealerships or through the online shop), while the accessories collection includes numerous items, such as seats, tank panels and approved exhausts, all viewable through the online configurator.
The presentation videos of the Ducati Scrambler models, and all the original contents produced in the “Land of Joy” are visible in the dedicated section “Scrambler Media Box” (link here) on the scramblerducati.com website.
