Iron Man-Inspired Honda RS125 From Lipa City, Batangas

We are featuring a bike inspired by one of the most iconic characters from the Marvel Universe, Iron Man.
The character was created by the pillars of the Marvel Universe starting with writer/editor Stan Lee and scripter Larry Lieber. It was designed by artists Don Heck and Jack Kirby. The character made his first appearance in Tales of Suspense #39 (cover dated March 1963), and received his own title in Iron Man #1 (May 1968).
The bike is owned Romnick Rustia, a tailor/couturier based in Lipa City, Batangas. It is a collaboration of several individuals starting with Mark Alvin Rubion of Spiggyworkz and Ian Lester de Ramos of Graphter design. “Bilang nag mo-modify ng motor, nakatutuwa ang mag-set up ng motor at mag-isip kung ano ang mga ilalagay na parts para bumagay sa concept mo. Mahirap mag-modify ng bike pero sulit talaga yung lahat ng hirap at sakripisyo dahil ito ay nagbibigay ng saya at inspirasyon sa mga taong nanonood ng show. Marami ka din nagiging bagong mga kaibigan,” Romnick shared.
The bike sports a custom-made pro-arm swing arm suspension system at the front fitted with RCB shocks. It also has custom-made dual rims and rear wheel tires with disk brake. The bike features a custom-made Gatling exhaust pipe with twisted elbow and showcases a wide array of aftermarket parts and accessories such as Racing Boy brake caliper (front), Hero axle sliders, genuine Thailand disk rotors, Mutarru hi-nut bolts, Keihin 28mm carburetor, Mutarru full shifter/rear set, Yayamanin bolts, Max Speed Racing swing arm, Benen tow hook, Mutarru chain roller, Racing Boy rear shocks, titanium oil breather, Hero Allen cup, Hero lightened chain cover, Hero crankcase cover left and right, custom lights modification, transformers handlebar, left and right switch button chrome, Hero brake lever gold chrome, Dunlop front and rear tires, chrome sprocket and chain and Osaki gold spokes. To carry out the whole theme, it features custom-made full Iron Man decals.
“Unang-una, maraming salamat sa Panginoon, sunod sa aking asawa, sa aking anak, sa aking dalawang builder na sila Mark Alvin Rubion (Spiggywork) at kay pareng Ian Lester de Ramos (Graphter design). Hindi mabubuo si Iron Man kung hindi dahil sa inyong dalawa. Maraming-maraming salamat sa inyo. I would also like to thank the people who are instrumental in the success of this show bike project. Thank you Team Graphter
Philippines, Spiggyworkz, 3brothers, Bimbiworkz, and Gawangbossih. Thank you very much InsideRACING Magazine and InsideRACING Nation for featuring my show bike,” expressed Romnick.
