It was year 2000 when Leslie Sunshine Mari Soriano from Mangatarem, Pangasinan got into motorcycling. At that time, there was a Yamaha RS100 and Yamaha Chappy in their home. Riding motorcycles then became her hobby.   Aside from the Yamaha RS100 and Yamaha Chappy which were then sold, Leslie also had and rode a Wave S 125, XRM 125, Smash Revolution, Mio Sporty, TMX 155, RUSI 125, SYM Chacha 50cc, Yamaha Vino, Yamaha Aprio and a Honda Dio2. At present, Leslie has a Honda Dio 2, Yamaha Artistic Yamaha Jog Aprio, Honda Dio 1, Honda Dio 3, Yamaha BWS, Honda Tact, Yamaha Jog 1 and a Yamaha Vino.

Leslie is popular in the riding community particularly in the endurance riding scene as she has conquered and finished many endurance challenges. She was a former member of Scooter Adiks sa Pangasinan. Leslie started joining endurance events in 2019 and was a finisher of the 1200kms KON (King of the North North Loop), 800kms EcoTourismo, 150kms Lolomoto, 150kms RFac, 300kms RFAC, 300kms RFAC, 800kms Angeleños (1348kms total) and 500kms PTec.

Riding her trusty two-stroke scoots, Leslie mostly rides alone and eventually she met the admin of 2 Stroke Family Philippines and she was introduced to charity rides. Leslie began conducting charity rides even as a solo rider and she helps in any way she can.

“Bilang isa pong lady rider ng 2-stroke Family, malaki ang impact sa buhay ko ng pagra-ride dahil isa iyon sa passion ko – mag ride nang mag ride kahit maraming mga problema sa buhay. Isa din sa layunin ko na ipaalam sa mga ka-riders ko na hindi lang malalaking cc na motor ang kayang libutin ang mundo,  dahil luma man ang motor namin at mausok pero kayang lumayo nito,” shared Leslie.

She has a lot of dreams in life but her wish is just simple and that is for her and her family to stay strong, for her to raise her children well and be able to give them a simple and good life and be able to help her relatives and the needy people with what she has. She is happy to help. Leslie dreams to travel the whole Philippines using her Yamaha Jog Aprio 50cc. She hopes to do a Philippine Loop soon.

Leslie advises her fellow riders to always be alert on the road and always think of going home safe. To her supporters and fans and her tuner, Leslie had this to say, “Maraming, maraming salamat sa inyo dahil lagi kayong nakasubaybay sa bawat takbo ko. Hindi man ako perpekto, iyong tiwaLa ninyo sa akin nandyan pa rin lagi. I want to acknowledge my best tuner,  the MaseLan Works of Gerald Matias na kahit laging pagod sa trabaho todo tono lagi sa motor ko para maging maayos lagi ang takbo ko. Shoutout sa 2T FamiLy at sa lahat ng kapwa ko Enduriders.”
