Double IRGP Trophy Champion Kirk Tomas  Dominguiano (KIXX Koso Yamaha)  of Urdaneta City, Pangasinan will graduate to the top GP class at this Sunday’s Motul GP, the first round of the 2022 MotoIR Championships USRA Nationals. It will be held at the 1.5 km Tarlac Circuit Hill (TCH).

IRGPXIV Champion

Dominguiano is one of the many rising stars in Philippine motorcycle road racing. After startingvracing in 2016, he was first put in the national limelight when he won the Automatic Trophy Class in the 2019 IRGPXIII held in Clark Speedway Pampanga.

IRGPXII Champion

Despite a year away from racing in 2020, Dominguiano resumed his winning ways in 2021 which culminated in his second IRGP Trophy Championship at the recent 2022 Alpinestar IRGPXIV held at TCH, this on his Yamaha R3 in the MotoIR1 Trophy Class.

After IRGPXIV 2022 season, Dominguino has been upgraded to Intermediate grade by the sanctioning body USRA and will now compete with the elite GP class. This means Kirk will now be wheel to wheel on the track with some of his racing inspirations.

But his father, Eric, is confident that Kirk, who  juggles time between racing and academics, will deliver. Kirk is now on his peak learning curve and moving up to a faster field will only accelerate his learning as a racer.

The racing fans from the North will be proud as racers from their area are now coming up from the ranks to challenge the established stars.
