Pantramomays: Retro Motorcycle Club From Batangas

This club traces its roots from longboarding, skateboarding, skimboarding and surfing.

It was only natural that they would eventually progress to motorcycles as they use it to go to far-flung provinces to pursue their passion. Majority of the club members prefer off-road retro-inspired bikes such as scramblers, trackers and off-road retro scoots. As they grew in numbers, they also accommodated bobbers and café racers.

The club was founded by Lawrence Maboo back in 2015 and he is their current Pinuno. They also have Vice Pinuno Madison Mendoza. “Nagsimula kami sa longboard/skateboard hanggang sa napunta sa motor. May mga members din kami na marunong mag custom-build ng motor hanggang dumami na kaming mga nagpapagawa ng ibat-ibang custom- build type motorcycles,” shared Maverick Legaspi, one of the club’s representatives.

The club embodies the true spirit of motorcycling which is to enjoy the freedom of the open road paved or unpaved and to venture into unknown trails in the spirit of adventure. Talking to these guys, one can really feel that they love what they do. They love to go out and enjoy the outdoors whether it’s a beach, lake, river, camping or just shredding on mountain trails. No wonder their membership has been steadily growing. Enjoying the outdoors is a great way to relieve stress and just being one with nature. They are a laid back motoring club, just a ride to the beach, mountain pitch in and some brewskis and these dudes are happy and content.

Aside from that, they are also engaged in community activities such as charity rides like the Sagip Kababayan campaign when Taal volcano erupted. They also advocate taking care of nature by promoting the locations or spots they ride to, sharing its beauty and emphasizing taking care of nature to ensure that the succeeding generations can still enjoy the great outdoors. They also promote retro-inspired motorcycle culture. The club is a regular participant of DGR (The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride), a worldwide fund raising event for the awareness of for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health.
