Although they missed a podium finish in the opening round of the 2026 FIM Asia Road Racing Championship, John Emerson Inguito and his team 4S1M EVO Yamaha showed speed, power and capability to lead and be in front of the highly competitive Underbone 150 category of the series.

“The Hitman” Inguito and his team had a strong season ender in 2025 with a podium finish in the final round held in Thailand.

Filipino pride Inguito was P2 at the starting grid of Round 1 held at the Petronas Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia from April 10-12. His team’s strength was evident again with JE and Indonesian teammate Rendi Odding (P11 at the starting grid) battling in front of the 22-rider grid and both riders leading Race 1 and Race 2 in a number of times. Starting strong, fast lap times were also registered by Inguito and Odding.

The UB150 battle was unpredictable with riders changing positions many times in every lap and the race to the finish line is always intense. Inguito finished Race 1 in P10 while Odding crossed the finish line in 5th place. The 4S1M EVO Yamaha riders had a strong performance again in Race 2 with Inguito taking the early lead and eventually finishing in P8. Meanwhile, Odding fought for P3 but was penalized after failure to serve long lap penalty and he ended up at P16.

After the first round, Inguito is 9th in the overall standings while Odding is 12th. 4S1M EVO Yamaha is 6th out of 11 teams in the rankings heading into Round 2 in May in Thailand where the team is eying trophies and podium finishes.
