The Wonderboy’s Underbone Racing Mastery on Full Display

For the second time in IRGPXVIII, McKinley Kyle Paz and Yamaha Philippines showcased strength, this time in the Underbone Limited Grand Prix presented by Castrol POWER1 Ultimate. The Limited GP grid featured 21 of the best intermediate and expert riders in the country.

Just like in their previous Super Sport race, his teammate April King Mascardo started on pole position but Paz soon claimed P1 and when he does, it is up until the checkered flag. It was a 1-2 finish again for Yamaha Philippines with Mascardo crossing the finish line second. Completing the podium cast was Jolo Suba of VS Resultado SEC Kworkz.

Mascardo was awarded by KYT for his pole position while Yamaha Philippines won the Best Team and Manufacturers’ awards. Suba was the Fastest Intermediate rider in the class and was awarded by F.C.C. Corporation. Jimuel Francisco, the mechanic of Paz, was recognized by JTEKT.

Finishing the race in fourth place was John Emerson Inguito of Dad’s Garage 4S1M Ravenol and fifth placer was ADM Racing Team’s Kerwin Chang. EJ Sobretodo of Yamaha Philippines delivered a sixth place finish while Kervie Bergania of Dad’s Garage 4S1M Ravenol ended up at seventh place. Lourdan Ian Guieb of JCP RCB crossed the finish line in eighth place while ADM Racing Team’s Russel Jarlego placed ninth followed by Jhareld Resultay of Pitsbike Chardworkz RRMoto, Rain del Mundo of Hyperboy, Reymart Lining of ADM Racing Team, Dustin Esguerra of DE69 Faito Yamaha, Race Ready Motorshop’s Vortex Suba, Ephraim Onahon of Honda Project M KOBY Estremo, NCY Suntal JDO’s Timothy Rojas and Fullgaz Yuasa CJFM AStyle racer Chino Perez. Not able to finish the race were Dad’s Garage 4S1M Ravenol Yamaha riders Nedy Duran and Masato Fernando, Edcel Corpuz of NCY Suntal JDO and Deo Pondoc of Honda Project M KOBY Estremo.
