Yamaha Motor Vietnam succesfully made a public launching of their new 2021 Exciter 155 VVA, also known as the Sniper MXi in the Philippines.

It now incorporates aggressive design cues similar from the brand’s R6 and R1 superbikes. There is a sportier new front LED headlight and fairing design while the rear styling is similar to the R15 sports bike.

The Exciter 155 VVA now has the same 155cc SOHC engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) as the R15 and MT-15 that produces 17.7hp at 9,500rpm and 14.4Nm torque at 8,000rpm. It’s six-speed manual transmission is now enhanced with an assist/slipper clutch.

Other upgrades include a new LCD screen, Smart Key system, USB port, front dual-piston caliper brake and a 5.4-litre fuel tank.

Another new model to look forward to from YMPH in 2021 indeed.
