Motul Cebu GP: Zeneos & Esguerra wins another National race

Multi-time National Motul Super Series Champion Dustin Esguerra (Denoo Oil – Gille- MLW) from Taytay, Rizal returned to nationwide racing and proved his great talent skill of adaptability and versatility at different racetracks by winning his first race outside Luzon since the pandemic.

Organized by the RacingLineTV in the “Queen City of the South” last July 17 at Kartzone Cebu, the Motul Cebu GP was the opening race of the Vis-Min Divisionals and is the 3rd round of the the 2022 Motul Super Series Nationwide Championship is a Philippine National road race event sanctioned by NAMSSA, the FIM National Federation in partnership with Club affiliate USRA. It is presented by Motul by Infiniteserv International in partnership with Pirelli, Zeneos, Beast, FDR, Extreme One, and Quick.

With a jam packed Kartzone watching, Esguerra used his ZENEOS scooter tires in the MOTUL Super Scooter GP class  to defeat a healthy lineup of riders composed of the best national racers from the  Visayas and Mindanao regions. Cebu’s former international Honda Cup racer Garry Cañeda followed him home wirh Cebu SR Motogarahe’s Sylvester Ramirez coming hime in 5th.

It is Esguerra’s third consecutive national win in the premiere scooter category using ZENEOS tires! He is also very proud that he is the one of a few riders sponsored by ZENEOS to actually race and win on their sponsor’s tires.

“Masaya ako kasi naipapakita ko ang performance at safety ng ZENEOS tires sa mga races ko. Lalo na dito sa first Motul Cebu GP Nationals, literally, gulong lang ang baon ko at ito ay naging sapat na para manalo ako. Iba ang motor na gamit ko at iba na naman ang racetrack na inikutan, pero hindi pa rin ako ipinahiya ng Zeneos tires na gamit ko! “

The next race of the Nationwide series will be on July 28 for the Visayas GP akso at Kartzone Cebu.
