Just before the pandemic, in early February, Bikerbox Inc. announced the appointment of a new President Mr. Marc De Joya.
Founded in 2013, Bikerbox is the country importer and dealer of many motorcycle brands and gears.
They are the country distributor of Aprilia, Moto Guzzi, and Moto Morini and dealers of Vespa, KTM, Royal Enfield and KYMCO.
They are the distributor of Mitas tires and various helmet brands like ZEUS, Scorpion, Simpson, Shark, and Veldt helmets as well as numerous other motorcycle-related products.
Mr. De joya is not only a veteran in the automotive and motorcycling industry having served in the business for more than a decade now, he is also a capable and skilled superbike rider both on and off the track.
He attended the Keith Code California Superbike School (CSS) in the USA many years before the school conducted local classes here.
He is a longtime member and past President of the premium big bike club Any Time All the Time Club, more popularly known as ATAT, which has monthly official rides on board multi-brand superbikes.
Mr. De Joya not only preaches the fast superbike lifestyle, he lives it!
Therefore, it is only fitting that his ride would be the the company’s fastest flagship superbike, the legendary 2020Aprilia RSV4 1100 Factory.
Believed to be an already perfect sports motorcycle, it was improved in 2020 with added riding features, new technology, and improved performance, the 2020 Aprilia RSV4 1100 Factory is one of the most impressive sportbikes on the market.
The Aprilia longitudinal 65° V4 engine produces an exceptional 217 HP and 90 lb-ft of peak torque.
Aprilia has reduced the overall weight down to 177 kgs by adding more carbon fiber parts, improving the power-to-weight ratio.
Top shelf parts include an Ohlins Electronic suspension, titanium slip-on exhaust from Akrapovic, Brembo brakes, and forged aluminum wheels.
To make it even more special, Mr. De Joya commissioned one of the country’s talented custom motorcycle painters, Dudshop Racing Design, to give it a MotoGP livery replica paint job!
“This could have been premiered at the InsideRACING Bike Fest in March ,” he said.
Former PSBK Champion Dashi Watanabe was also set to campaign an Aprilia RSV4 when racing resumes in 2020.
Mr. De Joya only recovered the finished bike a few days ago and gave it its maiden ride last weekend together with other Aprilia superbike owners.
